Since this book was required for the last class I have to take for my degree, I had no choice but to buy it. It thoroughly covers polymers at a graduate level. It doesn't waste your time going over topics that were covered in organic chemistry I & II, which is a good thing. Why the three stars then? The author could have done a much better job presenting the information. What do I mean? Well, for example on page 23 when discussing synthetic rubbers he just mentions "IIR" and you should somehow know that it stands for "isobutylene isoprene rubber". This is right after he mentions ABS, which you have to infer from the previous paragraph that it stands for "acrylonitrile butadiene rubber". It seems like every few pages you have to stop and back into the information that he should have simply stated. This prolongs study sessions quite a bit.The homework problems are also pretty useless. My instructor did not assign homework so I had no way of testing my knowledge of the material because this book does not provide answers to any of the homework problems. Is it required? No, but since most textbooks have answers in the back for the even or odd problems, I feel like this one should as well.Overall, 3 stars=average. Nothing spectacular but nothing seriously wrong either.

I'm really enjoying this book. It has a fair bit of practical advice on how to test polymers (more please!!!) and gives lots of facts about their structure, function and properties.TGA (Thermo Gravimetric Analysis) and Raman spectra don't get much of a mention... but it's certainly seems to cover a lot of areas. It was surprisingly hard to find a polymers book that covered most of the basic facts... despite asking for suggestions from a number of polymer chemists and searching online. This suggests that there are very few good books which meet this need. From the undergrad perspective (my undergrad project is in polymers) this is a quite readable and very useful text. I'm just sorry that they don't teach us more about polymers at Uni: they've dropped polymers as an elective entirely (lecturer retired and not replaced).Polymers are a very interesting area of chemistry... and this book certainly helps explain why.

Polymers: Chemistry and Physics of Modern Materials is a classic text that emphasizes structure/property relationships in polymers. The majority of the Third Edition is unchanged from the Second, except in two important ways: for the first time, problem sets are found after each chapter, which is a welcome addition over the earlier editions. Secondly, recent developments in polymer chemistry have been added: controlled architecture polymers, such as dendrimers and stars, along with metallocene chemistry, RAFT, ATRP, and other catalyst mediated chemistries. To make room for these developments, the content on liquid crystalline polyesters is combined with the chapter on crystallinity. Those seeking an in-depth coverage of viscoelasticity and ultimate mechanical properties, especially the latter, will need to supplement the coverage of these subjects using other texts and reference works. Publication under the CRC/Taylor and Francis Group makes this book more readily available in the U.S. than were previous editions.

Great text book for polymer chemistry.

Nice

Came in great condition. Class you need it for: not so great.

Such a good read for materials science majors like myself! It's a great textbook and an easy read with tons of graphs.

The book is very well written on the chemistry and physics of polymers. It is one of the very best books of the field. The new edition includes review questions, a bonus.

I'm surprised this book isn't referred to more often - I have 3 of the best known home cheesemaking books and am liking this the most so far. Directions are easy to read, there are a lot of recipes for cheeses both known and more unique. What I like most about this book is that for each cheese there is a brief description of what the cheese should taste like, texture etc. It really bugs me that few of the other books do this in an easy to read way, if at all - so this gets high marks from me for that. I've made the Leerdammer (a type of alpine cheese) so far from this book and it was excellent. Really enjoying it. Two things would improve this book for me immensely - 1. to have metric measures as well as Imperial, and 2. a better Table of contents that lists all of the cheeses in the section. These two things would make this book perfect for me. But have to say, this is for me, my favourite cheesebook to date.

This book provides some good hints for equipment and processes for cheese making, but it needs to be more closely edited. I have wasted several gallons of milk attempting to make cheddar cheese via this book's recipes. I tried a couple of the recipes and neither of them worked. Followed everything to the letter and still a terrible result. On the Stir Style Cheddar, it never tells you when to use the calcium Chloride...so why have it in the recipe list, if you don't tell us how and when to add it. Very disappointed with this book. I threw it away...certainly don't want anyone else trying to use it. It would be one thing if I hadn't made a successful cheddar and ricotta before and wanted to branch out...what a mistake I made! The whey ricotta was the worse I have ever tasted and made. Never again!

great cheese book. step by step help and recipes are great

Love it, Very helpful; Clear instructions.

After reading the book I can conclude that it has many quality cheese recipes

great book very complete recipes

VERY IMFORMATIVE, GREAT SELCTIONS FOR THE FIRST TIME CHEESE MAKER AS WELL AS THE ADVANCED! THANKS!

The book itself is fine, but it's bound on the wrong side, so runs back to front.

While I found the book easy to read, apparently well researched, and reasonably well organized, what follows is more of a summary of the book's key ideas than a critique of them. There's a number of useful reviews here, especially those by other economists with alternative viewpoints; I encourage you to read them for a more informed critique. In most economically free societies, the two mechanisms of wealth-sharing are work (employers shift wealth to employees by paying them) and redistribution (taxes pay for goods and services that may not be redistributed in proportion to how much you paid), and the society has a definition of who is "in" (eligible to participate in both mechanisms). This book asks: What happens to these mechanisms when increasing automation is squeezing the first, and those controlling the wealth are opposed to expanding the reach of the second? Its overall responses are: (1) while it's true that policy everywhere has tipped to favor wealth concentration, the essential problem is structural; (2) As a result of this fundamental structural problem, most efforts to "create jobs" will run into problems that ultimately doom them; (3) therefore, for better or worse, some form of non-labor-based redistribution will become necessary (eg universal basic income).1. PRODUCTIVITY-ENHANCING TECHNOLOGY CAN WORK AGAINST A BALANCED LABOR MARKETHenry Ford's innovation was to de-skill individual roles to vastly decrease the cost and increase the per-employee productivity of making cars; precisely because the de-skilled jobs were tedious, he raised wages and coddled his employees to attract labor and reduce turnover, something he could afford to do because of their high productivity. But this scenario comes with 3 problems.First, the high productivity makes it affordable to pay higher wages, but workers in low-productivity industries such as education and healthcare that suffer from Baumol's "cost disease" (it costs about the same to educate 1 student or care for 1 patient as it ever has) are in the same labor market, so their wages must rise *despite* stagnant productivity, thereby increasing the cost to the consumer of purchasing those goods or services. That is, wealthy companies can afford to pay employees more because of the employees' much higher productivity, so that most income inequality is due to wage gaps *between* firms/sectors rather than within them.Second, productivity-enhancing de-skilling paves the way for complete automation of those jobs, so the benefit to low-skill workers is short-lived.Third, since higher productivity leads to a labor glut even before automation takes over, it pushes wages down. This is bad because while the effective price of some goods also falls due to that productivity (cars, cell phones), the effective price of others doesn't, either because supply is scarce (housing) or because they suffer from Baumol's cost disease of stagnant productivity (education, healthcare). This is an example of how "job creation" systems can end up working against themselves. Future employment opportunities will likely satisfy at most 2 of the following 3 conditions ("employment trilemma"): (1) high productivity and wages, (2) resistant to automation, (3) potential to absorb large amounts of labor. To see the dynamic, consider the solar-panel industry. Increased productivity in manufacturing solar panels has caused them to drop in cost, creating a large market for solar panel installers, a job resistant to automation (meets criteria 2 and 3). But that same increased productivity means most of the cost of acquiring solar is the installation labor, limiting wage growth for installers (fails criterion 1). As another example, consider healthcare. As technology increases the productivity of (or automates) other aspects of care delivery, healthcare jobs will concentrate in non-automatable services requiring few skills besides bedside manner and the willingness to do basic and often unpleasant caregiver tasks. As a third, consider artisanally-produced goods, whose low productivity is part of their appeal (meets 1 and 2). But the market for them is limited to the small subset of people who can afford to buy them (fails 3).Can education help? Higher educational attainment is still key to high wages, but not to high wage *growth*. The level of education required for that has been climbing higher and higher, putting it beyond the economic (and possibly intellectual) reach of most people, yet those are precisely the credentials needed to participate in the most lucrative parts of the economy. The displaced workers "trickle down" the skill-level chain and depress wages even higher in the wage hierarchy. So improving education, while a good idea, won't help people in poor countries as much as simply moving them into a rich country to work in that economy.2. HENCE, SOCIAL CAPITAL IS INCREASINGLY KEY TO SUCCESSFUL COMPANIES AND SOCIETIESSince WW2, developed-nation economies have increasingly "dematerialized" to where most of the value in goods being produced was in knowledge-worker contributions, rather than physical manufacturing or the labor therein. (iPhones and cars are built overseas, yet most of their value is in design and software, which aren't outsourced.) Increasingly, the "wealth" of a company is not in its capitalization or even the material output of its employees, but its "culture" -- its way of absorbing, refactoring, and acting on information in a value-added way that is difficult to replicate and produces a product customers want to buy.(This is also why cities are resurgent -- they permit a dense social/living fabric that promotes evolution of social capital, and the larger/denser the city, the more productive it becomes because of this effect, supporting high levels of specialization and social networks that facilitate labor mobility. The demand results in high housing costs, but NIMBYs oppose building more housing because even though the benefits would be spread over the whole city, the costs would be concentrated in their neighborhood.)By definition, culture is a group phenomenon, not a set of rules handed down by a boss. Social capital cannot be exported like material goods; all you can do is try to create (or impose) conditions under which it can develop by allowing the free flow of ideas and labor (ie, the people in whose heads social capital lives), as the EU is trying to do within Europe. This is troubling for developing economies whose societies lack social capital.Hence, China, having spent a fortune to create physical infrastructure to improve worker productivity, has reached diminishing returns: further productivity improvements must now come from "deepening" the workers' social capital, which has been wrecked by decades of cultural mismanagement by a totalitarian regime. Similarly, India's outsourcing boom and China's hyper-rapid industrialization occurred because technology allowed them to temporarily bypass the difficult step of building social capital, by "biting off" chunks of activity taking place in richer economies: India hosting outsourced call centers, or China jumping into a global supply chain established by rich economies and uniquely facilitated by the digital economy, in both cases offering labor at lower cost. But this era is ending: other countries can play the same trick (eg Indonesia as the new China, depressing Chinese wages), automation is coming, and the relative advantage to outsourcing decreases as products become more information-centric. (Though note that while "reshoring" is happening, it's not creating more jobs: Tesla would rather pay a few highly skilled engineers to oversee an automated assembly plant than pay lots of low-skilled factory workers to build something manually and less reliably elsewhere.)It used to be thought that poor countries were poor because they lacked financial capital, but it's now clear that they can build factories without resulting in good social capital (India, China). Indeed, highly-educated workers in poor countries become more productive when they move to rich countries, suggesting it's the country's social capital that is lacking.3. YET BENEFITS OF SOCIAL CAPITAL DON'T ACCRUE TO THOSE WHO EMBODY ITYet as important as social capital is, when a worker leaves a company, his knowledge of that company's "culture" is generally not useful at a new firm, so he has little leverage (though this is somewhat counterbalanced by the pressure to not have *most* workers quit, which would destroy the culture). Conversely, a chief executive is harder and costlier to replace, so has more leverage as an individual. Herein lies the problem: "social capital" is in the collective heads of individual workers, but its benefits flow disproportionately to the owners of financial capital. A corollary is that the efficiency gains achieved by fluid (ie non-unionized) labor markets haven't been redistributed to the workers whose bargaining power was sacrificed to achieve those efficiencies. Marx predicted that that dynamic was unsustainable, and the society would collapse because either the workers would revolt and upend the government and the social norms it curates, hence destroying the wealth for everyone, or that the wealth-owners would asymptotically reach a point where no further wealth could be generated and harvested so they'd start fighting each other over the fixed amount of wealth, again destroying the society. Piketty notes that the 2 world wars did a lot to disrupt this downward slide because wars, taxation, inflation, and depression destroyed many of the superconcentrated fortunes made in the industrial age, but as noted above, the change was temporary. The consequence of this structural problem is that some form of non-labor-based redistribution is likely to be the only nonviolent way forward. This path has at least two challenges. One is that the act of doing work has other benefits -- agency, dignity, reinforcement of socially-useful values -- that would be lost; although surveys show that people saddled with extra free time due to weak job markets tend to spend it sleeping or watching TV, ie, at leisure. A second challenge is that such "highly redistributive" societies tend to emerge in ethnically/nationally coherent political units, and motivate the society to draw a tight boundary around itself. E.g. Scandinavian countries have generous welfare states that make them desirable to immigrate into, but as a result the load on the welfare system generated by lots of immigration is tearing at the seams of their welfare economies. That is, we can't expect rich liberal countries to throw open their borders heedlessly when the potential pool of immigrants dwarfs those working to generate the wealth that is redistributed.

Ryan Avent's book is an ambitious summary of recent economic trends and possible future economic trends affecting the labor market. His perspective is pessimistic. He believes that technological changes are reducing demand for labor to well-below available labor supply, which will lead either to widespread non-employment or low wages for much of the population. Avent believes that education will help, but is insufficient. The real solution, in his view, involves significantly increasing redistribution, for example through a basic income. However, such redistribution will be difficult to accomplish, largely for political reasons. In the end, despite all this, Avent seems to believe that we will somehow figure out how to accomplish the needed redistribution while continuing to expand the overall economic pie through technological progress. As a labor and regional economist, I disagree with much of Avent's argument. I think Avent overstates how much increased inequality is due to inevitable forces of technological change, and understates how much is due to "institutional" or political changes, for example the decline in the power of unions. I also think he understates the potential adaptation of labor demand to available labor supply. If public policy decides that we want to significantly increase the quality of infrastructure, education, and health care, this can significantly augment labor demand, and alleviate the demand/supply imbalance. If such labor demand policies are combined with increasing job skills, and institutional changes to push up wages (e.g., unionization, higher minimum wages), then the problems described by Avent will be much alleviated. However, despite my hesitations about Avent's analysis of the problem, and proposed solutions, I strongly recommend the book. Why? (1) He describes the scope of the labor market inequality problem in s a clear way, which alone is worth the price of the book. (2) His particular perspective represents one scenario for what could happen, which, although not inevitable in my view, is certainly a plausible future course. (3) I think his pessimism is frightening enough that it should encourage people to think boldly about possible alternatives. We need that spur to action.

A thoughtful analysis on the future of labor. I found it to be an interesting and even eloquent read. However, I agree with other reviewers: there are insufficient recommendations on how to deal with the effects of the coming abundance of labor.

No deep analysis on the formation or deformation of poltical power but good for an editior of economist to have a pragmatic critique to neo liberalism.

Comprehensive, well-argumented treatment of a challenging theme - difficult to disagree on anything

This book delves into the most important phenomena affecting today's and tomorrow's employment prospects. From hyper globalization, ineffective monetary policy to artificial intelligence, this book examines the forces driving the actual and expected labor glut.Conventional redistribution policies could prove to be tricky and harmuful. New social and economic models will have to be invented. For those who want a non linear and historical approach to the subject, this book will not let you down.

Avent writes with clarity and great style. I have serious concerns about anyone who says this book is not worth reading.

Well worth the read, but a read that requires being re-read to fully grasp many of the complex economic and social issues discussed within. The subject is broad and the author attempts to boil it down into digestible bites for the non-economics major. He does this with mixed success. Again, the work is deserving of a second reading to fully appreciate its valuable insights.

I must throw in my two cents here. Unlike many of the readers I find the relentless facts thrown out to be quite interesting. The way the author documents what is known about Holmes is excellent. I also agree with those who find his arrangement of these facts to be rather dry but at the same time I find them fascinating. One thing that does throw me, though, is that the author asserts from the start that Holmes did not kill nearly as many people as he is credited with, and later casts doubt on the fact that he could be considered a serial killer at all, and that furthermore when he threatens a man who had complained about debris from his building (Holmes had a pistol and a knife!) and was only saved by a policeman that this is "uncharacteristic" of Holmes. By this point in the book no less than five people had been killed by Holmes, and in its broadest definition serial killer denotes someone who kills either for pleasure or financial gain -- clearly Holmes was at least a sociopath, and the fact that he had no compunction about killing children leads one to believe he was no doubt a serial killer for all practical purposes. It seems the author strains mightily to demythologize Holmes to the point of trying to ignore the fact that he was pretty much a monster of sorts. Worth the read for anyone interested in Mudgett aka H.H. Holmes.

This is a great read. I had read enough about Holmes to know that Devil in the White City was greatly embellished (it's a great story, nonetheless), and then when Adam mentioned this book while my wife and I were taking one of his tours (the history of Graceland Cemetary - check it and his other tours out on his website Mysterious Chicago), I ordered it right away.It was fascinating to learn the real history of such a notorious figure, and how the legend of HH Holmes grew over the decades. This book also shows a fascinating glimpse of how journalism and police work was in the late 19th century. I highly recommend this book.

Extremely dry. Though this book is full of information regarding the life of the notorious H. H. Holmes, it is very boring and after struggling through half of it I lost interest entirety. It is straight forward and fact based, which is good for content but it was so dully presented as to be unreadable. It would be more suitable for reference material than entertainment.

A boring collection of essentially footnotes. There is no flow or continuity or literary arc. Just a recitation of one-line newspaper accounts that may or may not be true. A good editor might have been able to rescue this mess but in its present form it is nigh well unreadable. A waste of time.

Probably the best book out there on H. H. Holmes. Adam Selzer cut through all the malarkey and gets the true story out in a sensible way. I truly enjoyed reading it and am reading it a second time so I did not miss something.

Many hours of tedious research must have gone into this book, but I found it a very slow and tedious read. I bought this book after reading Devil in White City and was anxious to read it over Spring break to learn more about H.H. Holmes. I couldn't stop reading DIWC. I had to keep putting Selzer's book down - too dull for me.

Well written but a long and tedious read. If you really analyze, only about 75% is really related to the actual killings. The rest is filler, in my opinion. If you have insomnia and need to nod off....this is the book. Lots of detail and characters. Be prepared. You will end up knowing a lot more than you probably wanted to.

Selzer does a good job of laying out a timeline and the facts. So if you're looking for that, you'll find it here. Where the book came up short for me was in the narrative. It became tedious pretty quickly, especially if you've read on Holmes' story in the past. This book would be a good primer for anyone looking for an expository on the details and timeline, as opposed to all that but in a more narrative form such as Devil in the White City.

Chris is the man when it comes to branch whittling. The book is very well put together with vibrant full color pages that show the pieces close up. The 4 stars is because simply I have watched many videos with Chris and the information from those just doesn't fit into this book. A simple detail like using the big knife and sawing motion along the full length of the blade to make the rooster tail just doesn't transfer as well in text as is does in a video.Great book for anyone getting into whittling or wanting some projects that can be made with whatever wood/trees are around you.And always remember sharp knife!

chris's books are great and his projects are fun. swiss army knives are outstanding! great combination!

Easy to follow instructionsThe book should have a chapter on the very basic’s of whittling and show more easy projects to whittle

Great book! Lots of color photos! Directions are straight forward. Best of all are the many unique and different items to carve. My favorite section are the many adorable birds! I will have to check out his other books! Thanks

This book has lots of pictures that follow along with the written text to give you an idea of what to do as you attempt to whittle projects side-by-side with the book. Written in a conversational style, most people should be able to follow along to learn the basics – then take those skills forward for your own creations. For the beginner, there is a good overview of choosing a knife, sharpening, how to cut wood, etc. You truly can do this with one of the Swiss Army tinker knife. You may also want to do a search on the author’s name, as he has several instructional “how to” videos that are very similar to the chapters in the book – it can help bridge some of the question of “how did he do that” as you are doing your own project.

Interesting book for anyone who is interested in simple carving.

My son and I are using this together, I like the safety tips (as my almost teenage son doesn't tend to listen to my expert advise as much anymore) good information about types of wood to carve and knives.

Another great book by Chris. He knows his stuff an is good at estimating time and difficulty levels for carving / whittling his projects.

Highly referenced, I've been unable to put this book down. Hilary has meticulously documented her findings in their own medical studies. If you're not connecting the dots already regarding the increasingly common death and destruction of innocent children - this book will go some way. As a parent, I'm realising the time I spent researching prams, nurseries and the like would have been more wisely spent looking into my own health issues pre-baby. What I have read in this book explains many of my own ailments as a child and adult, with thousands of dollars thrown at the issues to fix them, only to experience side effects as well. I certainly understand now that the incredible health my child experiences is no accident and we have done the best possible, blissfully unaware of the dire risks associated with any vaccine. If you're not going to buy this book, please ask your doctor to show you the product information sheet available to the practioner. Read that at the very least before you allow any vaccination.

Hilary's book I really liked, think it might be a good book for mothers just getting their feet wet studying vaccination and getting info from another mothers perspective, one with alot of knowledge on the topic.

good

As a medical doctor, I saw several of my own patients develop severe illness after being vaccinated. Because of being met with so much resistance over what I reported and saw with my own eyes, and had proof with blood tests on these patients, I was compelled to undertake independent research. In my study, I was fortunate enough to locate a used copy of Just A Little Prick, and read it cover to cover with a great thirst. Chapter 3, The Wake Up Call, contains 12 pages of writing I will never forget. Back then I thought Hilary must have been an outlier, with her experience, but since then, I have heard her story, and worse, from enough women to know that the negative experiences I witnessed during my Ob/Gyn rotations in medical school and residency are not rare events. Sadly and at times infuriatingly, I now am certain that the field of Obstetrics does more harm than I ever thought possible. Doctors these days seem to ignore their own textbooks and medical literature in lieu of tradition; harmful tradition. After a child is born, things do not get much better within the realm of conventional medicine and medical policy. When Hilary and Peter were raising children in New Zealand, vaccines were not given at birth and the schedule was not as aggressive as it is today. During the years, they raised their two sons, policy was changing and more vaccines were added to the schedule. Parents were awakening to the many problems in their own children due to vaccination. Hilary was one of a handful of people in the country who seriously looked into the science, and compared it to the policy and the coercive tactics of the health departments, often turning their arguments totally upside down.I am so delighted to see Just A Little Prick back in print, available on Amazon. This book is a gem. It has a little bit of everything; real life stories and experiences, wit and humor, sound scientific support, Hilary's artfully eloquent writing style, Peter's poignant reflections on life with Hilary, on seeing the issues from his own perspective, on policy, and his own humorous and gentle style. The manner in which their chapters are interlaced, keeps some levity to this potentially very heavy topic. This is a book I will always want on my shelf, right next to the sequel, From One Prick To Another.

Amazing in scope, detail and research. The parallels between vaccination in New Zealand and the US are interesting. Oh, and you can download the book for free off the author's website. : )

One of the BEST books I had ever read back when it was first written. Well written and well referenced! I have recommended it to many new parents and am grateful to Hilary Butler for her work.

I love this book, and its sequel From One Prick to Another. I'm American, and found the parallels between the US and New Zealand's official pushing of deadly vaccines and the push-back by ordinary families, vaccine-damaged or not, extremely interesting. The description she gives of a public school campaign to vaccinate all schoolchildren with a meningitis shot not used here was appalling, children reacting immediately with fainting or vomiting, many shortly to be paralyzed. And the officials deny everything. The ineptitude displayed in a diphtheria outbreak in New Zealand twenty years ago, spilled over from that which arose in the shambles of the breakup of the Soviet Union, when many thousands were hungry and cold, and vulnerable to a resurgence of diphtheria, even though most had been appropriately vaccinated. Officials in New Zealand failed to diagnose cases of diphtheria that were present, and diagnosing it when it wasn't present. The level of research is excellent, and whichever disease/vaccine is the subject of the section, the details given as to the mechanics of the damage done by vaccines are extremely impressive. Many case histories from families Hilary has aided are given, some of them heart-breaking in the downward trajectory that followed vaccination, sometimes ending in the death of the vaccinated child. Historical descriptions are given as well, opening a door into other worlds. The author's grandmother nursed many victims of the Spanish influenza in her island home, but did not get it herself, nor did her children. Her list of trial vaccines that were tried out a hundred years ago was interesting, who knew there were vaccines for acne and scarlet fever, and dozens more, that didn't pan out? The numerous descriptions of medical officialdom trying to put her down are humorous, whether it's when she's giving a lecture or participating in a round table, or doing battle with medical personnel pushing her to vaccinate her sons or trying to bulldoze her into agreeing with their incorrect diagnoses. My daughter has autism from an encephalitic reaction to the hep-B vaccine at birth, given without my permission, and when I had told her doctor I didn't want her to get it. Hilary is second to none in her grasp of the horrifying dangers of the hepatitis-B vaccine and the toll it has taken on the helpless children it is inflicted on, for no reason. Hilary gives details about the search in Australia for children who got the disease from casual contact, studies were carried out, but there were NO CHILDREN who got the disease from casual contact, it's all a scam to sell product, who cares if my daughter is damaged for life as a result? The vaccine protection wears off in as little as four years, long before the child is old enough to engage in sex or illegal drugs, the usual modes of transmission. Hilary gives statistics on how many people get the disease (she had it twice), how many recover, and how many eventually get liver disease and die. It's only a tiny fraction of one percent that eventually dies of hep-B, usually those who are drug addicts or alcoholics, whose health is impaired by their addictions. Everyone else eventually recovers. Another scam by Big Pharma, trying to make everyone believe the disease is rampant and a danger to your child. Dr. Sears in The Vaccine Book presents the figures showing that before the vaccine, only an average of 360 children a year were getting it, most from infected mothers, while officialdom jacked the figure up to 30,000 a year with no basis in fact, just to get the lucrative vaccine program going. Even after a congressional hearing in 1999 found that the vax was very dangerous and should absolutely not be given with mercury, they gave it to my daughter in 2000 with mercury and without even asking permission. Hospitals got a bonus for every newborn they vaccinated, so I guess it paid off for them not to even ask permission. Who cares about the permanently damaged newborns? Hilary cares, and thank God for that, I am grateful that she has dedicated her life to publicizing the dangers of vaccines and the evil in the hearts of those who push, push, push them, even knowing the harm they cause. It would be ludicrous how the doctor-puppets are dancing to Big Pharma's tune if it weren't for all the mangled victims they're dancing on. I cannot do justice to the dozens of interesting topics she addresses in her books in a short review, but highly recommend both of them.
