I love this book! There are so many really neat and functional pieces in here. We made the bar stools and changed a few things on them. We needed them taller - no problem, just get longer pipes! We used all 2 x 4's, placing the foot rests flat so that they were wider. Also, we secured the seats with u-clamps because we had trouble drilling holes through the 2" side - it might be easier with a drill press, but we don't own one. They came out great and we have had so many compliments on them! Onto our next project!
I am a big fan of Ben's youtube channel and wanted to offer more support to the work he's doing.He shared some of the designs he already showed us in his youtube channel but also offer a lot more new ones. I've always loved how Ben uses concrete to build really modern furniture and how he concentrates on quality and price as well.We do not need to pay $800 for a coffee table. You only need a few tools and willingness to start.
This is a great book with tons of amazing designs and ideas. It got me hooked on trying new things in my new home and I have little to no skills prior to checking this out. I found the author on Instagram and YouTube and if you aren't already following him you should! He has amazing easy and fun designs for all types of things that are applicable to just about anyone.
Projects are simple and easy. The finished look is awesome. Using tints and dyes of a different color for the plywood layers and different enamel spray paints for the metal, a unique look is created for any decor. Way too cool.
I am obsessed with this man and his designs for DIY projects. He is unique in a world full or robots and this book is quickly becoming my favorite thing to read over and over.
This one of the best books in its category. Good step by step instructions. Excellent photos. Ben even helps you troubleshoot any problems. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Great book! Easy to follow instructions, and gives you great tips on saving money on how to find materials for a specific project. Anyone can be a diyer and develop skills if you have great tools to use and this book is one of them!
