I have seen the Westminster Confession referred to in a number of books or articles I have read. Wanted to know what it was all about. Old fashioned language but interesting. Not sure I agree with everything but an important part of history for a Christian.
Was introduced to this little book by the Ligonier ministry. Written centuries ago, but prevailing truths. You will be surprised how on target and useful this book is.

The Westminster Confession is the core of American, Scottish and English Calvinist theology. It contains the Gospel in pure and simple terms. Well worth reading.
A good way to understand the reformed tradition as it was started from the beginning. I recommend to anyone who would like to understand it better.
A timeless classic. Probably the best articulation of biblical theology ever written. Best read slowly and prayerfully.
